-Registration Fee(s) and September Tuition are due at registration.

-Families paying tuition in monthly installments are required to provide credit or debit card information to be kept on file
and fill out Automatic Payment Authorization Form.

Studio Policies

-Gone Dancing places each dancer in the appropriate class and level and will inform families if a change is necessary.

-Dress Code is strictly enforced in dance classes and street shoes are not permitted in the dance rooms.

-Make-Up classes are available for students by appointment. No refunds or credits are issued for missed classes.

Dance Recital

-The annual Dance Recital will be held at St. Dominic High School on June 12th and 13th.

-Mandatory Dress Rehearsal will be held on Thursday, June 11th.

-Although participation is not mandatory, we encourage all dancers to perform in the recital.

Fees and Restrictions for Late Payments

-Tuition received after the first of each month automatically incurs a $20.00 late fee.

-Tuition must be current for the purchase of Dance Recital Tickets and paid in full for a student to partici-pate in the Dress Rehearsal and Recital.

-Dance Recital Costume fees received after the December 1st deadline incur an additional $20 shipping fee, but availability and timely delivery are not guaranteed.

-A $35 fee is automatically charged for a returned check.

Severe Weather Closings

Gone Dancing will close with Oyster Bay-East Norwich School District in the case of inclement weather.
We will also send an e-mail if we have to close.

Attendance

Dancers must attend their regularly assigned class. However, we do allow make-up classes for any missed classes. No credits are given for tuition at any time. Please call ahead of time to let us know that your child will be making up a class. Make-up classes may be taken in any form of dance. Make sure the class is the appropriate age for your child. In preparation for the recital, your child will NO longer be able to make-up after MARCH 1ST.

For all holidays, school breaks and snow closings we follow the Oyster Bay-East Norwich School Calendar.

Annual Tuition

Tuition is a yearly fee that can be broken down into half year payments or monthly payments for your convenience. Tuition remains the same regardless of holidays, vacation and/or illness. If a child must miss class due to illness, school activities or medical reasons, tuition must continue to be paid to hold your dancer’s spot in class.

Dress Code

Creative Movement and Intro (2-4 yrs): Leotard, tights and pink ballet shoes. Tutu/Skirt optional.
Ballet (5 and up): Black leotard, black shorts, nude tights, pink ballet shoes.
Tap (5 and up): Black leotard, black shorts, nude tights and black tap shoes.
Jazz: Black leotard, black shorts, nude tights, tan jazz shoes or jazz sneakers.No Street Shoes!
Hip-Hop: Black leotard, black shorts, nude tights, tan jazz shoes or jazz sneakers. No Street Shoes!

Dance Shoes and Attire

Shoes and dance attire may be ordered at Gone Dancing. Please see Miss Carrie or Miss Caitlin at the front desk for pricing and sizing information.

Please send your child to dance with water. No food or drink other than water are allowed in the dance rooms.
